Memorable Vietnam Experiences and Friendships

April 1966 being a short timer and getting ambushed with 2 fellow survey members- - Carroll W.(HOOKS)Collier and Richard Mast. Hope to find them and have a reunion, and keep looking for more of those who served with the 569 in the early years, and came over on the cruise ship USS.BRECKINBRIDGE.

Doing Now: The year 2001 is now behind us and 2004 will also be gone sooner then we expected. Been retired now for 4 years and doing just about what I want. There are those unexpected events that come along and one must adjust, but as the time goes on, the kindness of retirement returns.

Life after Vietnam: Have lived in Arizona most of the time, and spent some lovely years in England. Now retired and enjoying the relaxed time of life. No, I do not play golf which seems to be something that one is asked when you state you're retired. I love to travel- - landscape and spend time with my grandkids. I know there a those who do not have computers and hope that their kids see the names of their father's or borther's and let them know we are looking for them

Future Plans:
Hope to find more fellow surveyors from '65-66 days.

Comments:
You may e mail anytime, and noticed that Sgt.Auston (SURVEY PATOON) is not on the member list any more. Does any one have his e mail or phone number. Sent him a picture and talked to him on the phone 3--4 years ago and want to keep in touch. Your help is appreciated.
